Architecture,Technology&User.

As the scientific technology gains capability to do more, will the  occupants or users feel like doing less.... Every technology primarily deals with two factors control and privacy.
As this technology advances mainly architectural technology, how occupants feel is very important.
For example provision of lifts can reduce the effort for the user but because of that many people may miss daily exercise. Thus many architectural technologies can have many negative effects on the users. As architects we are responsible for the user and his actions.
This negative effects of technology can be caused by not integrating technology into the design, but merely adding it as an after thought to the design.By considering the situation and user feelings while designing one can actually reduce these negative effects of technology.
Balance between technology and architectural design is necessary in the present world.A perfect blend of technology into the architectural design can be achieved when we design with the technology, i.e., technology should be a part of design rather than an addition to the design.
